Soglio
Part of our Pivot Doors collection →
A dark vertical-grain slab crossed by two horizontal brass bands, the upper one forming a recessed pull. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.
The Soglio is a plain vertical-grain slab with two parallel horizontal brass bands set across it below mid-height. The upper band is recessed to form the pull, so the hardware disappears into the line of the design.
Shown in a dark walnut finish under a stone arch with a lake view beyond, the door works as well in Mediterranean and classical settings as in modern ones. It can be finished lighter.
Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Soglio can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits Mediterranean villas and stone-clad homes that want a modern door without losing warmth.
