Takahama Pivot
A dark walnut pivot door with three small frosted lites stacked beside the pull — the Takahama Pivot lets in a line of light without opening the door to view.
The Takahama Pivot is a flush mahogany slab in a dark walnut stain with three small square frosted glass lites set in a vertical stack beside the lock stile. The lites are just large enough to read as a line of light from inside and out; the rest of the door stays solid and private. Photographed installed and open, showing the foyer beyond.
Built on pivot hardware, it can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets. The lites use laminated impact glass and can be frosted, reeded or clear. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
