Baypoint
A bold geometric rhythm that captures light and shadow. Deep carved waves run across the Baypoint’s dark slab, framed by a two-story wall of glass.
The Baypoint’s face is carved in continuous horizontal waves — broad, rounded ridges that run edge to edge and catch light along their crests. Where the Ocean Shell is organic and radiating, the Baypoint is rhythmic and linear: a pattern that reads as texture from the street and as sculpture at the threshold.
It is shown in a near-black finish with a tall brass-tone bar pull, set inside a glass entry pavilion with travertine columns — a combination that makes the door the darkest, most tactile element on the facade. In a natural mahogany finish the ridges pick up more warmth and the grain shows through the carving.
Built on pivot hardware, the Baypoint can be made as a single oversized leaf up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, with two 5-point lock sets for hurricane zones. The wave spacing and depth are cut to suit the door’s final height so the pattern always finishes cleanly at the top and bottom rails. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
