The discipline of the plane.
A modern door is about what you leave out. No raised panels, no ornament — just a flush or planked mahogany face, a precise reveal, and hardware that reads as a single line. We build the four modern languages our clients keep asking for, then tune every one to your elevation.
Flush & vertical-grain faces
Our Stockholm family: uninterrupted mahogany grain, hidden hardware, pulls up to 72″. The most-ordered modern door we make.
Horizontal plank compositions
Tiama and Takahama designs stack solid planks with deep shadow lines — texture without ornament.
Glass lites, laminated impact
Vertical, offset or full-height lites glazed with laminated impact glass, so the light comes in and the debris stays out.
Asymmetrical & oversized formats
Double asymmetrical leaves, fixed panels, transoms and sidelites — or step up to a pivot for openings to 81″ × 144″.
Engineered for Miami-Dade. Finished by hand.
Six things we build into every modern door that most manufacturers leave out.
Florida Product Approved
Hinged outswing configurations under FL16326 and pivot configurations under FL28370 — tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203 for High Velocity Hurricane Zones.
Solid mahogany, engineered core
Naturally rot-resistant and dimensionally stable in coastal humidity. The face you touch is real wood, not a veneer over foam.
Multipoint locking
Five solid-brass 4½″ hinges and a multipoint lock that engages the frame along the full height of the leaf. Compatible with our smart lock with fingerprint keypad.
Sized to the opening
Singles to 50½″ × 122½″, pairs to 74½″ wide, sidelites to 45″ — and pivots to 81″ × 144″. Nothing is adapted from a stock slab.
Permit-ready documentation
Florida Product Approval, installation instructions, CAD drawings and certificates — everything your contractor and building department ask for.

Common questions.
Are your modern doors hurricane rated?
Yes. Hinged outswing configurations are built under Florida Product Approval FL16326 and pivot configurations under FL28370 — both tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203 for High Velocity Hurricane Zones with a design pressure of +65 / −65 PSF. Your engineer confirms the required pressure for your opening; we supply the approval documents.
How big can a modern door be?
Hinged singles to 50½″ × 122½″ and pairs to 74½″ wide, with sidelites up to 45″ and transom configurations up to 160⅜″ tall. If your opening is larger, our pivot doors go to 81″ × 144″.
Hinged or pivot — which should I choose?
Pivot when the opening is oversized or the door is the focal point of the elevation; hinged when the opening is standard, the budget is tighter, or you want a pair with sidelites. Send us your elevation and we’ll tell you which the architecture is asking for.
Do you only manufacture wood doors?
Yes — we exclusively manufacture solid wood doors. We do not produce metal, aluminum, fiberglass, or fire-rated doors. Mahogany is the species we work with because it has decades of proven performance in Florida’s climate.
What is the lead time?
After production starts, expect approximately 9 to 12 weeks for fabrication and delivery. Production doesn’t start until CAD drawings are approved, all paperwork is signed, and the 65% deposit has cleared.
Can I get any color finish?
Yes. We offer 5 standard finishes — Clear, Butternut, Dark Oak, Mahogany, and Espresso — and we can match any custom color a client specifies. Send us a sample, paint code, or even a photo of an existing door.
Do you ship outside Florida?
Yes. Every door is crated and shipped nationally, and we have delivered to the Caribbean. Installation service is available in South Florida; elsewhere we support your contractor with drawings and installation instructions.
