Proportion, panels and permanence.
A classical door works from proportion rather than plane: stile-and-rail construction, raised panels, arched or elliptical tops, sidelites and transoms. It reads as something built, not installed — and on a symmetrical facade it gives the eye a destination.
Classic All Wood
Raised and flat panels, carved details and diamond patterns in solid mahogany — 40+ designs from restrained to fully carved.
Classic Glass
Divided lites, arched glass and full-lite pairs glazed with laminated impact glass — light without giving up the rating.
Classic Grill
Hand-forged wrought-iron grills over impact glass — the Mediterranean and Spanish Revival signature, 80+ designs.
Arched, elliptical and transom tops
Rectangular, arched and elliptical configurations are all held in our approval, with transom pairs to 160⅜″ tall.
Old-world design. Miami-Dade engineering.
Six things we build into every classical door that most importers can’t.
Florida Product Approved
FL16326 — our Custom Series outswing wood door approval, tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203 for High Velocity Hurricane Zones. Large-missile impact rated.
Solid mahogany construction
Stile-and-rail panels in dense, rot-resistant mahogany. Stable in coastal humidity, richer with age — the species classical doors were always meant to be.
Multipoint lock, brass hinges
Five solid-brass 4½″ hinges per leaf, a multipoint lock on the active leaf and concealed flush bolts on the inactive leaf — engineered as part of the tested assembly.
Pairs, sidelites, transoms
Singles to 50½″ × 122½″, pairs to 74½″ wide, sidelites to 45″, transom configurations to 160⅜″ tall — every one held in the approval.
Permit-ready documentation
Florida Product Approval, installation instructions, CAD drawings and certificates — everything your contractor and city need.

Common questions.
Are your classical doors hurricane rated?
Yes. Our classical outswing doors are built under Florida Product Approval FL16326, tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203 for High Velocity Hurricane Zones — Miami-Dade, Broward and coastal Florida — with a design pressure of +65 / −65 PSF and large-missile impact resistance.
Can I have glass or a wrought-iron grill and still be impact rated?
Yes. Glass and grill designs are glazed with laminated impact glass as part of the tested assembly. The grill is decorative and protective; the laminated glass carries the impact rating.
Do you build pairs with sidelites and transoms?
Yes. Pairs to 74½″ wide, sidelites to 45″, and transom configurations to 160⅜″ tall are all held in the approval. Rectangular, arched and elliptical tops are qualified configurations.
Can you match my existing doors on a renovation?
Yes. Send photographs and rough dimensions. We match proportions, panel profiles and finish so the new doors belong to the house — while upgrading structure, hardware and weather performance underneath.
Do you only manufacture wood doors?
Yes — we exclusively manufacture solid wood doors. We do not produce metal, aluminum, fiberglass, or fire-rated doors. Mahogany is the species we work with because it has decades of proven performance in Florida’s climate.
What is the lead time?
After production starts, expect approximately 9 to 12 weeks for fabrication and delivery. Production doesn’t start until CAD drawings are approved, all paperwork is signed, and the 65% deposit has cleared.
Can I get any color finish?
Yes. We offer 5 standard finishes — Clear, Butternut, Dark Oak, Mahogany, and Espresso — and we can match any custom color a client specifies. Send us a sample, paint code, or even a photo of an existing door.
Do you ship outside Florida?
Yes. Every door is crated and shipped nationally, and we have delivered to the Caribbean. Installation service is available in South Florida; elsewhere we support your contractor with drawings and installation instructions.
