The Varberg seen from inside a formal foyer — mahogany slab, dark band pull, 4″ thick — proving a modern pivot door can hold its own under a chandelier.
Varberg 3 is the Varberg viewed from the foyer: a warm mahogany slab with the full-height dark band and integrated pull, framed by clear sidelites and a paneled wood transom wall. In the project pictured it sits under a coffered ceiling and a crystal chandelier, with a traditional stair to one side — a modern door in a classical interior, and it works because the design is so simple.
The stain is matched to the paneling around it so the door and wall read as one warm surface, with the dark band as the single accent.
Like every Varberg, the door is built 4″ thick. Built on pivot hardware, it can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets.
