Manhattan with Concealed Hinges

Part of our Modern Doors collection →

Vertical walnut staves broken by a single angular band and a full-height bronze pull — the Manhattan design, hung on concealed hinges.

The Manhattan with Concealed Hinges is a single entry door in solid mahogany with a face built from wide vertical staves, interrupted in the lower third by a bold angular band: two planks break away on the diagonal and step back into the vertical rhythm. A full-height brushed-bronze bar pull runs down the edge, with no glass in the door itself. It shares its design with our Manhattan pivot door but swings on concealed hinges that stay hidden when the door is closed, a practical choice for narrower openings or where a pivot isn’t wanted. Shown in a walnut stain between full-height glass sidelites.

Built 4″ thick as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany with mortise-and-tenon joinery, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair. Sidelites are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Hand-finished in our own factory in any of our standard stains or a custom color. Prefer a pivot?
