A recessed bronze channel holds a long bar pull on this horizontal-grain mahogany pivot door in a walnut finish. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.
The Durham turns the grain sideways: the grain runs horizontally across the slab, which makes the door feel wider and calmer. Near the lock edge, a tall recessed channel lined in dark bronze breaks the horizontal lines with a single vertical cut.
A long bar pull in matching bronze sits inside the channel, so the hardware stays within the face of the door. Shown in a warm walnut finish between full-height glass sidelites under a board-formed concrete canopy, it can be finished lighter or darker.
Built 4″ thick in solid mahogany and turning on floor and header pivots rather than side hinges, the Durham can be made as a true oversized entrance — up to 81″ wide and 147¾″ tall under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand.
