Dinard

Part of our Pivot Doors collection →

Fine grooves fan out across the slab from one lower corner, with a long recessed finger pull routed into the face. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.

The Dinard is a flush slab with a single gesture: a set of thin grooves that radiate from the bottom corner and sweep up across the face at different angles. Instead of applied hardware, a long vertical finger pull is routed into the wood near the edge.

Shown open in a natural mahogany finish, with a matching jamb and glass sidelites and transom, the grooves pick up shadow as the light moves. Finish tone, groove layout and pull length can all be adjusted.

Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Dinard can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits homes that open toward a courtyard or garden, where the door stands wide open much of the day.
