Darkhan

Part of our Pivot Doors collection →

A dark, fully fluted pivot door where the vertical reeds bend into a diagonal sweep at the top corner — texture and movement in one solid slab. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.

The Darkhan is covered edge to edge in fine vertical flutes. Near the top of the door the reeding changes direction, fanning into a diagonal pattern that meets the vertical lines along a clean angled seam, so the face reads as one continuous texture that seems to turn a corner.

A slim, full-height bar pull runs along the lock side in a tone close to the wood, keeping the attention on the relief. Shown here in a deep espresso stain inside a pale wood frame with a single glass sidelite, it can be finished lighter or darker to suit the facade.

Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Darkhan can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits contemporary, tropical-modern and minimalist homes where the entry should feel crafted rather than decorated.
