A quiet vertical-grain slab crossed by a single horizontal band at hand height, with a square recessed bronze pull set into it. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.
The Amboise keeps its face almost entirely plain: tall, continuous vertical grain from top to bottom, interrupted only by one horizontal band of cross-grain mahogany at hand height. A square recessed bronze pull sits at the end of that band, so the hardware reads as part of the design rather than something added to it.
Shown in a warm walnut finish under a lit concrete canopy, the door lets the grain do the work. It can be finished lighter or darker to suit the façade.
Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Amboise can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits minimalist and contemporary homes where the entrance should feel calm and precise.
