Morcote
Part of our Pivot Doors collection →
Vertical and stepped grooves across a red-brown mahogany slab, framed by full-height glass sidelites. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.
The Morcote is cut with a series of vertical grooves that jog sideways partway down the door, forming a stepped pattern toward the lock side. A slim vertical bar pull sits beside the pattern, and the door is shown between full-height glass sidelites.
The rich red-brown mahogany finish warms up a pale stone entry, while the grooves add a fine, linear texture. Finish and sidelite layout can be adjusted.
Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Morcote can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits bright, open contemporary homes with glazed entries.
