Two offset mahogany panels in a walnut finish step around a horizontal reveal that holds a bronze plate pull. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.
The Ripon is built from interlocking planes. A narrow stile runs the full height on one side, and the rest of the face is split by a stepped reveal: the upper panel and the lower panel are offset from each other and meet along a horizontal channel at hand height.
A flat bronze plate pull is set into that channel, so the hardware reads as part of the joinery. Shown in a natural walnut finish between full-height glass sidelites in a travertine facade, it can be finished lighter or darker.
Built 4″ thick in solid mahogany and turning on floor and header pivots rather than side hinges, the Ripon can be made as a true oversized entrance — up to 81″ wide and 147¾″ tall under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand.
