Semeru
Part of our Pivot Doors collection →
A driftwood-tone pivot door where fields of vertical, horizontal and diagonal slats meet a smooth diagonal band, finished with a square open-frame pull. Solid mahogany, built to your opening.
The Semeru divides its face into geometric fields. Vertical slats, horizontal slats and angled slats each fill their own section, while a smooth, unslatted band cuts diagonally through the middle and lets the natural grain show. The result is a door that looks different from every angle.
A square, open-frame pull in dark bronze sits at hand height on the smooth band. Shown in a soft grey-brown driftwood tone between full-height glass sidelites, it can be finished warmer, lighter or darker to suit the facade.
Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Semeru can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits contemporary and tropical-modern homes where the entry should feel sculptural but calm.
