Bogota

Part of our Pivot Doors collection →

A full-height flush pivot door with a single diagonal grain break across the lower third — one quiet line that makes the whole slab read as sculpture. Solid mahogany, built to your opening. Built 4″ thick.

The Bogota is a study in restraint. The slab is flush and uninterrupted from floor to header, with the wood laid so that a single diagonal seam cuts across the lower third of the door, turning the grain direction and catching the light differently on each side. There is no applied trim, no panel, no glass — the wood itself is the design.

A square, recessed pull plate sits low on the lock stile, keeping the face clean and reinforcing the door’s vertical proportion. Shown here in a warm walnut-tone stain that brings out the depth of the mahogany, it can be finished lighter, darker or in a solid color to suit the facade.

Because it pivots on floor and header hardware rather than side hinges, the Bogota can be built as a true oversized entrance — up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370 — while still swinging with one hand. It suits contemporary, minimalist and tropical-modern architecture where the entry is meant to be tall, simple and confident. The slab is built 4″ thick in solid mahogany.
