Taybooto 4” thick

A monumental Taybooto slab built 4″ thick — dark walnut, vertical grain, standing open in a limestone monolith beside a glass wall.

Taybooto 4″ thick is the flush Taybooto built at its heaviest: a full 4″ slab of solid mahogany in a deep walnut stain, with the grain running vertically the whole height of the door. The extra thickness shows at the edge when the door is open — pictured here mid-swing in a monolithic limestone portal — and gives the leaf the presence and swing weight of a piece of architecture.

A slim vertical pull sits on the lock stile; a glass wall runs beside it, with wide stone steps below.

Built on pivot hardware, it can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets. The slab is built 4″ thick in solid mahogany.
