Taybooto 2
Two tall panels, one groove, one long pull — the Taybooto 2 is the most restrained of the paneled Taybooto pivot doors.
Taybooto 2 splits the slab into two horizontal panels with a single groove at mid-height. It is the quietest of the grooved Taybooto family: the one line gives the door a datum at hand height and keeps the vertical grain from feeling endless on a very tall leaf, without introducing any pattern.
Shown in a warm mid-brown stain with a slim black bar pull and a small round cylinder, between full-height glass sidelites and under a transom, with a vertical wood-slat wall to one side. The door’s simplicity lets the slat wall, the art and the pool view do the talking.
Built on pivot hardware, the door can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated with two 5-point lock sets. The groove position can be set to align with a handrail, a window mullion or a stone course. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
