A dark espresso Taybooto with vertical grain and a full-height pull, centered between glass sidelites in a travertine portal — the classic Taybooto entry.
Taybooto 101728 is the flush Taybooto slab in a deep espresso stain, with the vertical grain of the mahogany visible through the finish and a full-height stainless bar pull. It is the configuration most people picture when they think of a modern pivot entrance: a tall dark door, glass on both sides, stone all around.
Shown in a travertine portal with a lit canopy, glass sidelites and a transom, at sunset with the interior lit behind it. The dark slab against pale stone gives the entrance depth from the street; the sidelites keep the foyer bright.
Built on pivot hardware, the door can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets. The sidelites and transom are part of the same tested assembly. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
