Berlin Pivot
Vertical planks, a long bar pull and nothing else — the Berlin Pivot is the clean-lined mahogany entrance that suits almost any modern facade.
The Berlin Pivot takes the simplest possible idea — vertical planks of solid mahogany — and lets the proportion do the work. Five to six evenly spaced boards run the full height of the door with a fine V-groove between them, so the slab reads as one warm surface from the street and shows its craftsmanship up close. A slim, full-length bar pull in black sits on the lock stile.
Shown in a natural honey-brown finish that keeps the mahogany’s figure visible, the Berlin works equally well in a darker espresso stain or paired with a matching plank sidelite. It is the door we recommend when the architecture is doing a lot already — concrete, glass, cantilevers — and the entrance should complement rather than compete.
Built as a pivot, the Berlin can be scaled to a true statement size: up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, with the weight carried on floor and header hardware so it swings effortlessly. Plank width, groove profile and pull length are all specified to your opening. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
