Varberg 108681
The Varberg in reverse: a black slab with a vertical band of natural mahogany that forms the pull — built 4″ thick for a tall glass-walled entry.
Varberg 108681 flips the usual Varberg contrast. The slab is finished in matte black, and the full-height vertical band on the lock stile is left in natural mahogany, so the wood becomes the accent and the pull. The band steps out at hand height to form the grip, keeping the face free of applied hardware.
Shown centered in a two-story glass wall with a lit canopy, a stone side wall with the house number and tropical planting either side. The narrow wood band is the only warm note on the facade, which makes it read from the street.
Like every Varberg, this door is built 4″ thick, which gives the band real depth and the door a substantial feel in the hand. Built on pivot hardware, it can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets.
