Varberg 2 places the Varberg design in a classical-modern setting — a warm mid-brown mahogany slab with the full-height dark vertical band on the lock stile that steps out to form the pull. The band is the door’s only ornament, and it reads as a crisp line against the wood even from the street.
Shown between pale limestone columns with lanterns, glass sidelites and a two-story glass wall above, with ferns and a brick forecourt. It is proof that the Varberg suits traditional facades as well as flat-roofed modern ones.
Like every Varberg, the door is built 4″ thick, which gives the band real depth and the leaf a substantial swing. Built on pivot hardware, it can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets.
