Irregular facets of mahogany and glass across the face — the Saratov 114858 is a sculptural modern door that reads like a mosaic of wood and light.
Saratov 114858 assembles the door face from irregular polygonal pieces of walnut-stained mahogany with glass set between some of them, so the pattern reads as a fractured mosaic that lets light through in shards. A slim pull sits on the lock stile. Shown in a travertine pier under a wood-slat ceiling with a glass sidelite and tropical planting.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Laminated impact glass in the openings; pattern to the client’s drawing.
