Berlin

Narrow vertical planks in a honey stain with a short black pull — the Berlin is the simplest plank pivot door we make, shown open from the inside.

The Berlin is built from narrow vertical mahogany planks with a fine groove between each, so the face reads as a warm, finely ribbed surface. This version uses a short black bar pull at hand height rather than a full-length bar, which keeps the door quiet and lets the planks carry the design.

Shown open from inside a bright foyer in a honey stain, with a glass sidelite and a concrete planter outside — the door in its most understated form.

Built on pivot hardware, it can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets. Plank width, groove profile and pull length are specified per project. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
