Taybooto Z33
Six wide horizontal planks in a rich red-brown stain with a full-height black pull — the Taybooto Z33 is the plank version of the Taybooto pivot door.
The Taybooto Z33 is built from six broad horizontal mahogany planks with fine V-grooves between them, rather than a flush slab with cut grooves. Each plank shows its own figure, so the door has the depth and variation of real boards while keeping the Taybooto proportions and full-height black bar pull.
Shown in a rich red-brown stain between full-height glass sidelites, under a transom and a pitched wood ceiling with pendant lights, with pale stone steps and planters. The horizontal boards ground the tall opening and echo the lines of the ceiling boards above.
Built on pivot hardware, the door can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets. Plank width is chosen so the courses divide the height evenly. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
