Varberg 115130 develops the Varberg idea with a recessed vertical channel cut into the lock stile of the slab. The channel is finished dark, and the pull is inset within it, so the hardware sits flush with the face of the door: nothing projects, and the line reads as a shadow rather than an accessory.
Shown in a light natural mahogany stain with strong vertical grain, this version suits warmer palettes — travertine, limestone, pale stucco — where a darker door would feel heavy. The photo shows it in a covered entry with a matching wood ceiling, which is a combination we specify often: the same finish overhead and on the door ties the whole threshold together.
Built as a pivot, the door can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated with two 5-point lock sets. Channel width, pull length and stain are all selected per project, and a matching plank sidelite is available. The slab is built 4″ thick in solid mahogany.
