Bimini

Three wide mahogany panels pierced with a scrolling leaf motif — the Bimini is a pivot entry that doubles as a piece of decorative screen.

The Bimini is built as three wide mahogany panels — a pivot leaf with fixed panels beside it — each cut through with a flowing, scrolled leaf-and-tendril pattern. Light and air pass through the cut-outs, so the entry reads as a decorative screen from outside and throws patterned shadows inside. The pattern is laid out to run continuously across all three panels.

Shown in a warm natural stain on a white Mediterranean house with a reflecting pool at its base. It suits courtyard entries, gate-houses and covered approaches where a solid door would be too closed.

Built on pivot hardware, the operating leaf can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide; the pierced panels can be backed with laminated impact glass where a weather seal or hurricane rating is required. The pattern is cut to the client’s drawing. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.

The Bimini Door is a modern masterpiece, seamlessly blending contemporary design with intricate craftsmanship. At a robust 3 inches thick, this high-end wooden door ensures exceptional durability and security. Its sleek, minimalist form is beautifully adorned with exquisitely carved floral motifs, adding a touch of elegance and natural beauty. The Bimini Door is not just an entryway but a statement piece that enhances any home’s aesthetic with its perfect balance of modernity and artistry.
