Sendai 61488 assembles the face of the door from irregular angled pieces of honey-stained mahogany, laid so the grain changes direction across the pattern like a wooden mosaic; a lever handle sits on the lock stile. Photographed installed in a white wall beside a stone-clad feature wall.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Pattern to the client’s drawing.
