A pointed Gothic arch filled with carved tracery and a radiant cross — the San Pietro is the most monumental door in our church collection.
The San Pietro is a pair of solid mahogany doors shaped to a pointed Gothic arch. The arched head is carved with tracery — a central rose surrounded by quatrefoils and trefoils — and a carved leaf border runs down both sides. Below, a large carved cross with radiating rays spans the meeting stiles over a grid of raised panels, with a carved rail and scrolled pulls at hand height. Shown in a walnut finish.
Handcrafted in solid mahogany as a hinged outswing door, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (±65 PSF) — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair, rectangular or arched — with sidelites and transoms built as part of the same tested assembly.
