Kyoto

Double doors with thick mahogany bars over glass in a chevron pattern and stainless pulls — the Kyoto pair, shown from inside.

The Kyoto is a double door built as walnut-stained mahogany frames filled with thick diagonal bars over clear glass, the bars mirrored so the two leaves form a chevron; full-height stainless pulls sit at the meeting stiles. Photographed from inside a foyer with the drive and palms visible through the glass.

Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Laminated impact glass behind the bars.
