Kyoto Pivot
A black door of diagonal mahogany bars over glass with a stainless pull, in a white stucco entry with palms — the Kyoto as a hinged modern door.
This Kyoto is a black-finished mahogany frame filled with thick diagonal bars over clear glass, so the door reads as a screen: transparent between the bars, striped shadows inside. A full-height stainless bar pull sits on the lock stile. Photographed installed in a white stucco entry with a terracotta floor and palms.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Laminated impact glass behind the bars; angle and spacing to the client’s drawing.
