A classical mahogany entry with a two-panel door, glass sidelites and a divided transom, under a coffered porch with lanterns — the Istanbul is the formal front door for a Mediterranean estate.
The Istanbul is a raised two-panel mahogany door in a warm walnut stain, built into one frame with clear glass sidelites on both sides and a multi-pane transom above, so the entry reads as a tall, symmetrical composition of wood and light. Shown under a coffered mahogany porch ceiling with lanterns, limestone columns and stone urns.
Handcrafted in solid mahogany as a hinged outswing door, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (±65 PSF) — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair, rectangular or arched — with sidelites and transoms built as part of the same tested assembly. Glass is laminated impact glass; grills are hand-forged wrought iron.
