Chianti

Double doors with a grid of small raised panels and iron-scroll speakeasy lites — the Chianti is the Tuscan coffered door.

The Chianti is a rectangular mahogany double door with a grid of small square raised panels per leaf, a speakeasy lite behind a wrought-iron scroll grill at eye height and iron thumb-latch pulls, in a warm natural stain. Photographed installed.

Handcrafted in solid mahogany as a hinged outswing door, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (±65 PSF) — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair, rectangular or arched — with sidelites and transoms built as part of the same tested assembly. Glass is laminated impact glass; grills are hand-forged wrought iron.
