True divided lites
Real muntins, each pane its own laminated impact glass — not a grille glued over a single sheet.

Built by us
Designed, engineered, manufactured and finished by one company, in our own factory — not sourced from a catalog.
Glass where you want it. Wood where it matters.
A French door is a frame for light. We build the frame in solid mahogany — true divided lites with real muntins, or a single clear pane in a slim stile — and glaze it with laminated impact glass so the view stays and the storm stays out. Three families cover almost every elevation; each one is tuned to yours.
Francesca — true divided lites
Grids of individual lites over a raised bottom panel: the classic French door. Straight or arched, single or double, with matching sidelites and transoms.
Modena — one clear pane
A single sheet of impact glass in a slim mahogany frame. The French door for modern and transitional houses. Straight, arched, with transom.
Bastia — floor-to-top lites
Divided lites filling the whole leaf, arched or straight, in dark or natural stains.
Iron grills over glass
For Mediterranean elevations: hand-forged wrought-iron scrollwork over full-height impact glass — ornament and security in one.

Six things we build into every French door that most manufacturers leave out.
Florida Product Approved
Hinged outswing French doors under FL16326 — tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203 for High Velocity Hurricane Zones, with sidelites and transoms in the same assembly.
Solid mahogany, engineered core
Naturally rot-resistant and stable in coastal humidity. Real muntins, real wood — not a grille snapped onto a glass panel.
Multipoint locking
Five solid-brass 4½″ hinges and a multipoint lock along the full height of the active leaf. Flush bolts on the inactive leaf.
Sized to the opening
Singles to 50½″ × 122½″, pairs to 74½″ wide, sidelites to 45″, arched or straight tops. Nothing is adapted from a stock slab.
Permit-ready documentation
Florida Product Approval, installation instructions, CAD drawings and certificates — everything your contractor and building department ask for.

What our clients say.
“I ordered a very large 42″ front door with a side light. As you might imagine this was an investment and it took time to build and ship. Now that it is installed it is a center piece for my house and brings amazing curb appeal.”
— Vincent R., Google review“My front door is my dream door. This was the only company with the exact features I wanted, mahogany & cross bar design. I added a threshold & was advised exactly how to match the door stain. When I move, I’m taking the door with me!”
— Catherine J., Google review“Our door looks absolutely stunning! The service was great and the quality of the product is excellent. I recommend Custom Doors without hesitation!”
— Denise G. S., Google review“A gorgeous solid hardwood mahogany door was delivered. Special hinges and locks were ordered with it. Exceptional product. Very stately door that we like walking through every day. Delighted to give the highest of recommendations!”

Common questions.
Are your French doors hurricane rated?
Yes. Hinged outswing French doors are built under Florida Product Approval FL16326 — tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203 for High Velocity Hurricane Zones at +65 / −65 PSF — with sidelites and transoms in the same tested assembly. Every pane is laminated impact glass.
Are the divided lites real?
Yes. Francesca and Bastia doors use true divided lites — individual panes of laminated impact glass set in solid mahogany muntins — not a grille laid over a single sheet. Modena doors use one clear pane per leaf on purpose.
Can French doors open inward?
Our Florida approval covers outswing, which is also what most coastal building departments prefer. Inswing is available for projects outside the HVHZ or where the approval is not required.
Interior French doors too?
Yes — the same designs are built as interior doors without the impact package, in single, double and pocket configurations.
Do you only manufacture wood doors?
Yes — we exclusively manufacture solid wood doors. We do not produce metal, aluminum, fiberglass or fire-rated doors. Mahogany is the species we work with because it has decades of proven performance in Florida’s climate.
How long does it take?
Production runs 9 to 12 weeks once CAD drawings are approved and the deposit clears. Crated and shipped nationwide; installation available in South Florida.
