Pescara with metal rods is the horizontal-plank Pescara in a honey stain with a thin stainless rod set into each groove between the planks, so every joint carries a bright metal line; a full-height stainless bar pull matches. Photographed installed in a stone portal with a wood-lined soffit.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass.
