Stockholm Double
A pair of flush walnut doors with tall stainless pulls in a travertine portal on a pool-side modern house — the Stockholm Double in a coastal setting.
This Stockholm Double is two flush walnut-stained mahogany leaves with full-height stainless bar pulls, set in a travertine portal beside full-height glass with the pool and palms behind. The doors match the wood soffit above them so the whole entry reads as one warm recess.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass.
