Derby

A pair of walnut doors, each with three small frosted lites and a long pull, under a full-width glass transom — the Derby is the modern double entry with a little light.

The Derby is a double door in a walnut stain: each flush mahogany leaf carries three small square frosted glass lites stacked near the meeting stiles, with full-height stainless bar pulls. A tall clear transom above and glass sidelites either side turn the entry into a wall of light, with the two warm doors at its center.

Shown in a travertine portal under a mahogany canopy with concealed lighting, olive trees and a lit path.

Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass.
