A tall walnut door with fine vertical grooves and a matching wood pull, framed by a limestone monolith in a glass facade — the Kanazawa is Japanese restraint in mahogany.
The Kanazawa is a mahogany slab in a walnut stain faced with fine vertical grooves, with a slim vertical pull finished to match the wood. Shown centered in a projecting limestone portal set into a full-height glass facade, with planters at the step and lit paving — the tall proportion and the vertical lines read from the street.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass.
