Wolfsburg

Arched double doors with a diamond lattice of mahogany over glass — the Wolfsburg is a transitional design that suits a Mediterranean or Tudor-modern house.

The Wolfsburg is an arched-top double door built as walnut-stained mahogany frames with a diagonal lattice of wood bars over glass, so light passes through a pattern of diamonds. Shown in a white plaster arch on a stone-and-timber house with a pergola above and a pond at the path.

Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Laminated impact glass behind the lattice; the arch is built as part of the tested assembly.

The Wolfsburg door from Custom Doors, adorned with intermittent lines, is a striking blend of modern design and traditional craftsmanship. This door is crafted from premium materials, showcasing a rich, textured finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood. The defining feature of the Wolfsburg door is its sleek, intermittent lines that run horizontally across its surface, adding a touch of contemporary elegance and visual interest.
